Cold forming steel file can make thin and complex profile which couldn’t make by hot formed steel. Compare with hot rolled steel, the turning radius can increase 50%-60%, the moment of inertia can be 1.5-3.0 times.  Cold forming steel can make use of steel strength and save material by 30%-50% compare with traditional steel.

Cold rolling and forming steel is tooled by rolling and forming machine, the profile changed to required size and can be cut to different size. It can be also used to stamp or punch.  Cold formed steel is mainly used as structure material, it requires a certain strength for steel profile section.
