Description

SEEK Organic BamBoo Power BBP No. 2 is a Bamboo Biochar based, bio-organic fertilizer. The major components include Bamboo Biochar, Bamboo Vinegar, Amino Acids, Humic Acid and beneficial soil organisms. BBP No. 2 is an ideal, comprehensive fertilizer for organic farming and horticulture. BBP No. 2 is certified as 100% organic by IMO according to EC and USDA regulations.

Characteristics

• The beneficial micro-organisms in BBP No. 2 reproduce around the roots, enhancing nutrient transfer and decease resistance and reducing insect infestation.
• BBP No. 2 increases the availability of nitrogen and solubilizes phosphorus and potassium in the soil. It also increases the availability of all other, essential nutrients, and promotes plant growth.
• The active, organic components in BBP No. 2 ameliorate the soil structure, preserve moisture and fertility and increase the temperature and aeration of the soil.
• BBP No. 2 repairs damaged soils, increases organic matter in the soil and increases crop yields.
• BBP No. 2 raises the sugar content of many crops, particularly of root crops and of some fruits, improving the quality, taste and appearance and extending the shelf life.

Scope

BBP No. 2 is recommended as the main fertilizer for all organic agriculture and horticulture, including vegetables, fruit and flowers etc., especially for berries, such as blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, currents etc., sugar cane, grapes, kiwi fruit etc., as well as for Dendrobium and other Chinese medicine herbs.

Application

The application methods include band application, furrow application, in-hole application and spreading application, ideally covering the fertilizer with soil, compost or mulch after application. Application rates vary from 1,500-2,500 kg per hectare, depending on soil type and chemistry, crop type, fertilization and irrigation methods, climate etc. After providing all relevant information to SEEK, specific recommendations to suit local conditions and crops will be provided by qualified agriculturalists.

• Stored in sealed packaging and a cool & dry place, BBP No. 2 is stable for 2 years.
• BBP No. 2 may be harmful if swallowed. Keep children, pets and livestock away when applying the product.
• BBP No. 2 can be used in conjunction with other fertilizers, but must not be used in combination with unfermented composts, bactericides, alkaline pesticides.
