Gabion mesh is known as by different shape of gabion box,gabion basket, gabion wall, gabion mattresses, etc. 

It is hexagonal wire netting and can be finished by hotdipped  galvanized, galvanized aluminum alloy or PVC coated.

 

 

 

Style 1:  Gabion Basket

A double-twisted wire mesh container of variable sizes, uniformly partitioned into internal cells,interconnected with other similar units, and filled wih stone at the project size to form flexible ,permeable, monolithic structures such as retaining walls, sea wall,channel linings,revetments,and weirs for erosion control projects.

Style 2:  Gabion Mattress

A double-twisted wire mesh container uniformly partitioned into internal cells with relatively small height in relation to other dimensions,having smaller mesh openings than the mesh used for gabions;

gabion mattresses are generally used for riverbank protection and channel linings.

Gabion sacks  are cylindrical baskets,which are good for water to seep through the structure, relieving the hydrostatic pressures, insure the earth's shear strength, well for whole structure's stable; meanwhile, saved the charge for traditional retaining drainage equipment, low down the whole cost.

When I place order, what I need to pay attention?

1. When the aperture is 60x80mm, the maximum wire diameter is 2.7mm(Galvanized wire) or  2.2mm(PVC coated wire)

2. When the aperture is 80x100mm,the maximum wire diameter is 3.4mm(Galvanized wire) or 2.7mm(PVC coated wire)

3. If gabion is made of Galvanized Wire and PVC Wire, the wire diameter size of both should be same.
