Product Description

Parallel Port Break-out Board (PP-BOB1-v2)

1. All buffered outputs are taken out to screw terminals.
2. All the inputs are optoisolated,filtered and buffered for noise immunity.
3. All inputs or outputs like estop, chargepump, relays can be reclaimed and used for any purpose with jumpers.
4. On board rectifier and filter, accepts 9V to 15V AC or DC input for power.
5. On inputs, both terminals of optoisolator are connected to screw terminals, providing flexible connection to source / sink type inputs and with external series resistor can tke from 5V to 24V inputs.
6. 26 pins FRC as well as DB 25 connectors.
7. An on board charge pumo for safety is provided.
8. For enabling the hardware slavage of 2 motors on one axis for gantary style machines; one axis outputs i.e. step and dir are buffered twice and taken out control box to terminals.
9. For spindle and auxillary on-off control, an on board relay is given improve flexibility further.
10. Hand made high quality, low resistance, shielded male-to-male parallel port cable included.
11. LED indicators provided - Power OK, Estop OK, Relay ON and Chargepump OK signals.

Enhanched Parallel Port Break-out Board (PP-BOB2-v1):

1. All the inputs are opto-isolated,filtered and buffered for noise immunity.
2. All the outputs are buffered and taken out to screw terminals.
3. Selection of pull up or pull-down for motor outputs.
4. All outputs and inputs have LED indicators for easy diagnostics.
5. Motor output common terminal can be selected as 0V or 5V.
6. On board PWM to 0-10V circuit for spindle speed control from program.
7. DB25 as well as 26 pin FRC connectors.
8. FRC to DB 25 cable is available as an option, allowing clean layout in control box and get DB 25 connector out from control box.
9. On board Charge pump circuit is provided for safety.
10. On axis ( Step and Dir ) signals are buffered twice and taken out to terminals enabling hardware slaving of 2 motors on one axis need for gantry style machines.
11. Three on board relay provided for spindle or auxiliary on off control.
