POF-Endglow Fiber 

Introduction 

Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) is made of Polymethil Metacrilate (PMMA) as the core material, and fluorinated polymer as the 

cladding material. Light travels inside the core of a plastic optical fiber; the cladding is the external ‘cover' that generates 

the guiding effect which forces the light to follow the path of the fiber. 

End light Optical Fiber / Cable is typically made of high-index material PMMA as the core material, and low-index material 

fluorinated polymer as the cladding material, which makes Light only can travel inside the core of a plastic optical fiber, 

forming an end light effects. 

Due to its un-preaching ultraviolet and infrared, nonconductive and not heat transfer, End light optical Fiber / Cable can be 

used to decorate Ceiling, Christmas tree, and illuminate Culture relic, objects under the water or in the places where store 

fire-hazardous materials
