White or almost white hygroscopic powder, odorless, bitter, case-perishable, hygroscopic. This product is highly soluble in water, soluble in ethanol or acetone, very slightly soluble in chloroform or ether.
This product by regulating physiological function of capillary walls, increase permeability and reduce resistance, reduced plasma viscosity, reduce high platelet aggregation, thereby preventing thrombosis; through increased red blood cell flexibility, indirectly increase lymphatic drainage to reduce edema.
