ASME SA516 Grade 55 Carbon Steel Plate

The specification ASME SA516 Grade 55 covers carbon steel plates intended primarily for use in welded pressure vessels where improved notch toughness is important. ASME SA516 allows for four different strength levels. The most common is Grade 70.
