Product Description

I. Product Overview

In current digital network cameras and the information age, we often have different transmission environments need to require signal and computer networks transmissions. Transmission medium appears to be coaxial cables, twisted pair cables, power lines, control lines and radio frequency lines. SD-S900E can be used to achieve up to 1 to 4 computer network signal transmission through above transmission mediums. It can be widely applied to the new system and the transformation of existing architecture.

SD-S900E uses a new technology based on OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) in order to transmit base band digital data on radio frequency (2-30MHz band) having maximum transfer rate up to 200Mbps. Transmitting media either can be parallel lines (power lines or twisted pair lines) or coaxial interfaces. Using existing CATV media or any cable-broadcasting media is possible. SD-S900E also supports 128-bit AES encryption for network security and it is completely easy-to-operate. User needn't any detailed configuration or needn’t to be an expert. After wiring it can be operated without any trouble.

III Device interface description

 

1 --- Coaxial connector; carrier signal.

2 --- Transmission medium switch: left for the coaxial transmission mode, the right side is parallel transfer mode;

3 --- Parallel lines transmission interface, such as 220v power lines, telephone lines, twisted pair cables , etc. ; (Note that : Wiring Safety)

5 --- Pow :power indicator

7 --- Network cable connection indicator: It lights when connected to the network device;

IV  Application areas

SD-S900E can be widely used in industrial control, security monitoring and smart home systems, Ethernet and WIFI connection is a good way to supplement, to hybrid network and seamless networking purposes. VI  Transmission distance

(While transmission media varies, the solution of the longest transmission distances):

Twisted pair type to get the final 600 meters of IP access;

Coaxial cable (SYV75-5) type to get the final 2000 meters of IP access;

Power line (1.52line) transmission mode to complete the final 300 meters of IP access.

 

VII  Typical usage

  • For mines, military areas, railway stations, trains and other convenient place to set up a new cable, you can use the existing cable resources.
  • The way of radio cats (with existing wired broadcasting system multiplexed) to obtain max. 600 meters of IP access ;
  • The way of CABLE cat (with the existing CATV cable system multiplexing) to obtain max. 2000 meters of operation;
  • Cat Power mode (with existing power lines multiplexed) to obtain max. 300 meters of operation.
  • Power line maximum transfer rate of up to 200Mbps, The network delay has high demanding applications environment, such as online games and multimedia applications, and so on. All of above can achieve stability, good results. Supports 128-bit AES encryption, Only need a simply operation to establish a secure connection, to ensure secure transmission of data . Support plug and play, as long as the power outlet, use two power cat can extend the network connection. Cat Power Data transmission distance up to 300m, It offers simple, convenient networking solutions.
  • For security monitoring, it’s not the traditional concept of point to point transceiver. Only one coaxial cable can be attached to multiple IP cameras. Transmission distance is greater than traditional coaxial analog camera, reaching 600 meters; an ordinary braided outer conductor 75-5 coaxial cable with BNC tee can be directly attached to multiple IP cameras. Transmission distance is far greater than traditional analog cameras, reaching 2000 m.
  • The elevator car application : You can use the elevator 220v power cord , Making digital surveillance cameras and advertising signal to transmission shafts , without re- laying of cables;

VIII  Typical system connection diagram

8.1 Traditional security monitoring application

Traditional programs to adopt twisted pair cables, and each cable can not be more than 120 meters , the longest not more than 200 meters , each network camera will need a network cable ;

8.2 SD-S900E modification application chart

 

Using a coaxial cable with BNC tee, it is very convenient way to achieve a simultaneous transmission of four pieces network HD cameras by one video cable. Transmission distance can be extended up to 2000 meters while breakthrough the problem of twisted pair transmission and easier construction. (It can be created a new project, also used for the existing transformation of traditional analog cameras project);

 

8.3 Using power line (or phone lines or one pair twisted cable) transmission mode

 

While 220v AC power supply in the same phase ( from a 380v power supply 220v three-phase line on the same set), SD-S900E allows multiple network cameras transmit signals to each other , can also be used to transmit on the network . ( Note 220v interface security, regardless of live wire and null line)

 

IX  Notice

1 ) Can not be used across the meter, Device only can be used within the same meter .

2) 220V AC access careful not to short circuit.

3 ) Customers do not need any configuration, Device can be used after the completion of wiring .

4) Requires at least two modules to complete the communication.

5 ) This device supports up to four transmitter , a receiver ( Under security surveillance digital camera applications , the factory does not ensure that cascaded the normal work and  bandwidth guarantee if the items be used more than above quantity ).
