Product Description

SILVER WELDING WIRE WITH LOW DENSITY

Silver welding wire is different from other welding wires, because it is usually used for some precise instruments, for instance: air conditioning apparatus, electronic, aerospace and so on. And silver welding wire has some advantages, low melting point, low density, price cheap, etc. Therefore, it is very welcomed among welding industry.

Shiny silver welding wire is winded on a black plastic spool orderly.
The package style of plastic spool makes transportation of silver welding wire safer.

Long silver welding wire is wrapped into a round shape.
Coil is the most simple package style that make the packing of silver welding wire very convenient.

Short silver welding wire put into plastic bags, and five bags on the floor, three bags on the five bags, a bag on the top.
Plastic-bag silver welding wire is short, so this package style makes welding wire easy to use.

Application:

  • Silver welding wire is widely used for welding various precise instruments, for example: copper and brass fittings, air conditioning apparatus, hardware, and oil exploration.
  • It is also used in industries of refrigeration, mechanical, electronic, electric, aerospace and so on.
  • It can not be used in sulphurous environment and on Fe- and Ni-alloys.

Main Characteristics:

  1. It has low melting point, so it can improve plasticity and wetting ability of the alloys, as well as the alloys' strength and toughness.
  2. Low density, good resistance to high temperature, excellent gap filling ability.
  3. Low flux spatter and low levels of fumes.
  4. Excellent fluidity, good electrical conductivity and permeability, strong corrosion resistance.
  5. Price cheap and environmental compliance.

Package:

  • 10kg/spool, each spool wrapped with kraft paper, sealed, put into a polybag, then put into a carton.
  • 180kg/crate, the size of crate is: 35 × 35 × 12cm.
  • As customers' requirements.

Mechanical and physical properties:

  • Diameter: 0.1-6mm.
  • Working temperature: 690°C - 780°C.
  • Melting range: 650°C - 790°C.
  • Tensile strength: 250-430N/mm2.
  • Elongation: 5% - 25%.

Note:
The warehouse that is used to store silver welding wire should have a dry and ventilated environment. Water, acid, alkali and other corrosive liquids that have highly volatile substances can not be put in the warehouse. Silver welding wire should be placed on wooden pallets, and it can not be placed directly on the floor or against the wall.
