Wood chipper is one of the series of wood processing equipment. It is widely used in textile, paper making, pulping, artificial board industries for production preparation. According to the structure of working parts, wood chipper is divided into disc wood chipper and drum wood chipper.
Disc Wood Chipper Application
Disc wood chipper is specially designed for cutting wood logs, timbers, planks, tree limbs and trunks with a diameter about 3-18cm and a length not less than 25cm into smaller, fine particles(wood chips and sawdust). This wood chipper is widely used for premium wood chips processing plant, it is suitable for paper mills, particleboard, fiber board factory and wood chip production base.
By disc wood chipper, raw materials (diameter is less than 200mm), such as logs, timber can be cut into high quality industrial wood chips and shavings with even length, incision smooth and uniform thickness. But for materials (thickness above 350mm or less than 5mm) and materials (length less than 250mm) and irregular raw materials (the stump, branches, less than 5mm thick bamboo timber etc.), this machine does not have full uniform cutting function.
