FNP3002FC series Ethernet media converter converts the copper Gigabit Ethernet 10/100/1000 Base-TX to 1000Base-FX fiber signal and vice versa. The converter operate with 2 fibers with model supporting either multimode or singlemode fiber type and for singlemode, different models covers different range of cable distance. This will allow the extension of the typical copper cable transmission distance of 100m to 550m to 80km over the fibers. FNP3002FC is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab & 802.3z standards. The installation & operation procedures of the FNP3002FC are simple & straightforward. . The operation status can be monitored through a set of diagnostic LED indicators on the front panel.
