The newest updated AprilBeacon 202 is built‐in a CR2477 battery holder. Saving energy 30% more than AprilBeacon 241.  There are bar code stickers on both back of battery holder and outside the case. It is very convenient for the batch deployment and maintenance.  The AprilBeacon 202 is based on CC2541 BLE 4.0 module. It is low energy module. The new202 has hard reset button to restore factory settings in case of forgotten password.

Important change! 

• Remove the original pair passcode for Bluetooth. Replace the passcode with AT command AT+AUTH .
• Fix a bug for read battery level.
• Fix a bug for change TX power.
• Add characteristic 0xFFF8 for input AT command.
• New AT commands:
  • AT+RESET - Reset the AprilBeacon.
  • AT+DPLOY - The AprilBeacon will be un-connectable util next restart.
  • AT+AUTH - Input the passcode for change the module to editable. The default passcode is AprilBeacon. It can be modified by 0xFFF6.
• Add mac address in the Bluetooth service Device Information -> System ID (0x180A -> 0x2A23).

1 Q: What is the difference between using Apple SDK and April Brother’s SDK ? Is there any additional functionality on your SDK? 

A:April Brother's SDK provide some function for configure the April Beacon.

2 Q: Can I get SDK for Android and iOS?

A: Yes, we can give you SDK for both Android 4.3 and iOS 7.0.

3 Q: Can I have our own logo and in what kind of way?

A: Sure. We can have your logo engraved or printed on your case and also we can put customized sticker on it. Besides, we can customize case based on your requirement if you send us your detailed requirement of your case.

4.Q:Would you also be able to make custom housing for the circuits?

A: Yes, we do custom housing for the circuits as well as the custom iBeacon with logo on the pcb.

5 Q: Are the products compatible with Andriod apps too?

A: It compatible with Android 4.3 or above. The phone must support Bluetooth 4.0 Smart Ready.

6.Q: do you have any R&D team to support ?
