Properties

In addition to its application as an adhesion
Promoter in formulations and primers,
USi-1301 functions as a surface modifier in
fillers and pigments, where it improves the dispersibility of the filler and the
mechanical properties - such as flexural
strength, tensile strength and modulus –
of the composites. The silane also reduces
the filler's sedimentation tendency in the
uncured polymer.

USi-1301 also greatly increases water
(vapor) and corrosion resistance. Typical Technical Data

Applications

Silane USi-1301 is an important additive in
many applications, examples include:

1. Glass fiber or glass fabric composites：
As a size ingredient or finish

 2. Glass and metal primers
 

     3. Foundry resins:  As an additive to cold
      curing phenolic and furan resins

  4. Sealants and adhesives:  As a primer or
additive and for chemical modification

  5. Mineral-filled polymers (composites):
  For pretreatment of fillers and pigments

  6. Paints and coatings: 
As an additive and primer for improving adhesion to the substrate

Keep away from heat and open flame. When
stored at ordinary temperature in the original
unopened containers, this product has a
