Aluminum Composite Panel(ACP) is a new material after a series of processing. Aluminum sheet is used as surface which have been polished and coated with lacquer. Polyethylene is its core layer.

 

According to the advantage of Nanometer, so we ( Taizhou Coquimbo Aluminum Composite Panel Co., Ltd. ) apply the Nanotechnology to the Coating for the Aluminium Composite Panel. We call this coating as Nano-Photocatalysis Coating. This is the separate coating layer above the normal PVDF coating, It’s an additional coating based on high-tech paints, also it is one kind of transparent coating.

 

Nano-Photocatalysis Coating can decompose the pelagic microbe & flowing organic materials , so that can be to kill and restrain the microbe, clean the air and protect the virus infecting , also the Nano-Photocatalysis coating can be self-cleaning. So now the Nao-Photocatalysis coating become welcome and popular in the construction materials field.

Because the particle of Nanometer paints is very small, so any dirty dust will be difficult to stick between particle and particle, also the Nano-Photocatalysis coating have the hydrophile feature, so the oil and water bilge is very difficult to stay on the surface of Nano coating. Because the particle reach the Nano grade. So the other important feature is the coating layer is transparent, for this which don’t destroy the feature of PVDF coating.

Q1. What are the various thicknesses in which ACP is available?It is available in 2mm, 3mm and4mm. 5mm, 6mm and 10mm are available on request.

Q2. What is the size of ACP?The standard width of CNJB ACP is 1220 mm and length can be up to 6000 mm. Customized width of 1000 m, 1250mm, 1570mm or 1600 mm is also available on request.

Q3. What is the thickness of paint on CNJB ACP?

The thickness of the paint varies with the type of paint used:

Polyester: 15-18µ (µ-micron)

PVDF: 25-28µ, goes up to 30-35µ when given a third coat

 SDP: 25-28µ

The various dimensional tolerances of aluminium composite panels are as follows:

Q6. Are aluminium composite panels Fire Resistant?

Aluminium composite panels are Fire resistant depending on the type of core material being used. Generally Mg(OH)2 is added as a non-combustible material.

 

Q7. What are the fire classifications in your product?

CNJB has taken GB862_2012 for flammability and resistance to fire, for reaction to fire on the complete system CNJB has B1 and B2 rating. These ratings are in comparison to BS 476, ASTM E84, NFPA, DIN 4102 etc.

 

Q8. What is the difference between PVDF and Polyester?

PVDF has a better weather resistance.

PVDF has a higher flexibility as compared to polyester
