UNIVER-RSB-3000 Series Rail Static Bend Testing Machine allows the user to periodically test the quality of welds, this machine adopts servo-controlled hydraulic power pack which offers displacement (mm/s), force (kN/s) closed-loop control, the loading speed can be up to 120kN/s or 1.2mm/s, in the meantime, the bend deflection is also recorded during test. Analysis is performed at the edge of the weld collar of an aluminothermy weld, in order to examine one of the failure modes that occur in this weld type under high axle load conditions.
