Melamine sponges, magic sponges, and similar products all have the same key ingredient: melamine foam. In the early 21st century it was discovered that melamine foam is an effective abrasive cleaner. The open-cell foam is microporous and its polymeric substance is very hard, so that when used for cleaning it works like extremely fine sandpaper, getting into tiny grooves and pits in the object being cleaned. On a larger scale the material feels soft. Because the reticulated foam bubbles interconnect, its structure is a 3D network of very hard strands, when compared to the array of separate bubbles in a material such as expanded polystyrene foam (for example, Styrofoam).

 

Rubbing with a slightly moistened foam may remove otherwise "uncleanable" external markings from surfaces. For example, it can remove crayon, magic marker, and grease from painted walls and wood finishings, plastic-adhering paints from treated wooden tables, and adhesive residue and grime from hubcaps. If the surface being cleaned is not sufficiently hard, it may be finely scratched by the melamine material. The foam wears away, rather like a pencil eraser, leaving behind a slight residue which can be rinsed off.

1. Lightly wet sponge

2. Lightly rub white-part sponge across set in dirt and grime.

Do not use the colored side.

3. Rinse item with water and towel dry.

 

 

*Notes:

1. With enough water, melamine magic cleaning sponge can be used line the normal erasers.It is consumable,become smaller and smaller gradually.Don’t use it dryly.

2. It should be used according one direction.

3. Do turn off the electricity when clean the equipment.

4. If it is used to clean dishes, do wash throughly under flowing water.

1.The places where has too much greasy,like the kitchen smoker--long time no wash. For the heavy greasy dirt can be absorbed on the melamine magic cleaning  sponge, can’t be clean easily,thus, we don’t s est you to use in such conditions.You can first remove the greasy stains with detergent, and use the melamine magic cleaning sponge to do deep cleaning.
