Grip-F - for applications where fire

protect ion is a requirement .

The fireproof coupling is a GRIP-F with a fire protection

cover. In the event of fire, the intumescent fire protection coating expands,

protectively enclosing the coupling. During this process, the coupling retains its full

operational capability – without any limitations whatsoever.

Despite the fire protection, the GRIP-FIRE-FENCE can be installed in a space saving

manner. It has a high level of crush resistance, and thanks to the patented

design is still remarkably light weight. The GRIP-FIRE-FENCE is an impressive

and innovative design yet has all the trademarks and properties of traditional classic

GRIP couplings.

We are extremely proud of the fact that our FIRE-FENCE coupling has achieved

worldwide certification by the following IACS members according to IACS URP 2 and

ISO 19921.

The FIRE-FENCE KIT

GRIP couplings that have already been installed can be quickly and easily upgraded

to the GRIP-FIRE-FENCE version using the FIRE-FENCE kit. Available

for models GRIP-F.

Progressive sealing effect

If the pressure in the pipe rises, the contact pressure on the sealing lips also

increases due to the flow through the pressure equalization channel.

Progressive anchoring effect

If the axial tensile load on the pipe rises due to increased internal pressure or

external influence, the teeth continuously penetrate deeper into the surface of

the pipe to compensate.
