Tee can be divided into equal diameter tee and reducing diameter tee. The three port of concentric tee are same nominal diameter; but reducing tee main pipe is the same nominal diameter and the branch pipe is less than main pipe size.

For the seamless tee, now usual used hydraulic bulging and hot forming two technologies.
