Polyoxymethylene ,commonly knows as POM, it is a thermoplastic engineering plastic with high melting point and highcrystallinity, which is very suitable for machining work on automatic lathe, especially for precision component manufacturing.It has good mechanical properties and rigidity, and close to the metal material. It`s an ideal replacement material of copper, cast zinc, steel, aluminum and other metal materials. And it can be used in temperatures ranging from -50°C to +110°C.

• Easy to weld using thermoplastic welding equipment
• It offers good resistance to a wide range of chemicals including many solvents.
• As water absorption is almost nil, dimensional accuracy and stability is higher than that of Nylons.
• POM is also noted for its high mechanical strength, heat resistance and good antifriction properties.
• It is porosity free and is approved for contact with food (BfR, FDA compliant).
• For parts which need to be dimensional stable even exposed to humid or wet environments copolymeric Acetal offers better hot water, thermal and chemical resistance than homopolymeric Acetal.
