Sunflower meal is produced by extracting Sunflower oil from Sunflower seeds. The animals require good quality protein for healthy growth, and therefore sunflower meal is used mainly in animal feeds and it is the principal protein source in pig and poultry feeds. Sunflower meal is consumed by pigs, chickens and cattle.
