PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Featuring the world's first dual function portable AC power station with built-in UPS. With a capacity of 12V26AH/288WH of power, the UPS-M500 packs enough power to last your desktop PC for 2-3 hours during a blackout. At the same time, this portable power station weighs only 3kg and can be immediately transformed into a battery pack to power a fan or your laptop computer in the outdoors.
Using the most advanced lithium battery and inverter technology, the UPS-M500 offers a unique and simple solution to everyday power woes. Not only does it offer higher power with AC output function, it also features proprietary inverter technology where conventional inverter cannot match, therefore reducing in weight and size where no other products can match.
WHEN USING AC OUTPUT POWER
As shown in the image. Plug in the AC input power cord to the wall socket and connect to the UPS-M500. Then connect your device load to the UPS-M500. Turn on AC mains power, then turn on AC power ON/OFF switch on UPS-M500.
When the AC mains power (wall socket) is normal, your devices will draw power directly from the AC mains. (wall socket). At the same time, it will charge the UPS-M500 as well, the LED light on the front panel will indicate RED on charging and GREEN when full.
When a power trip or blackout occurs, the UPS-M500 will automatically switchover to power your equipments using the Lithium battery within.
IMPORTANT :
- DO NOT CONNECT THE UPS-M500 TO EQUIPMENTS OF LOAD THAT IS MORE THAN 500W.
- OVERLOADING OCCURS WHEN YOUR CONNECTED LOAD EXCEEDS 500W.
- WHEN THIS HAPPENS, THE UPS-M500 WILL SHUT DOWN.
- REDUCE YOUR EQUIPMENT LOAD AND TRY AGAIN.
- IN RARE CASES, WHEN THE UPS-M500 ENCOUNTERS AN EXTERNAL SHORT-CIRCUIT OR UNUSUAL POWER SURGE, THE EXTERNAL FUSE WILL BREAK WHEN THIS HAPPEN, YOU CAN JUST REPLACED THE FUSE.
- FOR AC230V, USE 5A FUSE, FOR AC110V, USE 8A FUSE.
NOTE : When bringing the UPS-M500 for outdoor use, please remember to turn off the AC power switch when not in use to prevent power drainage.
WHEN USING DC OUTPUT POWER
Please turn on DC ON/OFF switch. The LED light will be lighted up. Now the USB and 12V DC port will be ready to be used. After using, remember to turn off the DC ON/OFF switch to prevent power drainage.
The display panel will show the battery capacity, when the percentage shown is low, please charge the unit accordingly. To use the LED lamp, please turn on the LAMP ON/OFF switch.
SOLAR CHARGING
Use the SOLAR CHARGE input port for solar charging. The specifications for the solar panel have to be 18V output and maximum of 100W only. When connecting to the solar panel, please make sure that the polarity must be correct, if not, the solar charging will not work and the LED light will appear RED.
SAFETY :
a) This product contains lithium-ion battery, keep away from fire, dispose appropriately.
b) Do not use this product in a humid environment or near water, pay attention to keep dry, as far as possible use only in a dry environment.
c) Handle gently, do not drop, hammer, or pierce with a sharp object.
d) In the event that the power supply emit smoke, fire, or any other phenomena, should immediately stop using, power it off and unplug all connected devices. In case of fire, the use of fire extinguishers is necessary, due to the chemical composition of lithium battery, do not use water! May cause explosion.
e) Always ensure the power supply is used in a ventilated environment to prevent overheating. When overheated, the power supply will shut down for self-protection.
f) If the product is not being used for a long period of time, should be charged every 4-5 months to maintain the battery shelf life.
g) Do not store the power supply for long period of time without any charge, always maintain a charge of minimum 40%. In this way, the battery cells will not deteriorate.
