Without adding any additive, Y83 series Horizontal Automatic Briquetting Press (also called metal swarfs briquetting press, metal turnings briquetter，waste metal compactor, casting iron briquetter, foundry briquetter) are mainly used for processing following metal chips: Cast iron chips & borings, Aluminum chips & borings, Brass chips & borings, Magnesium chips, Manganese chips, and Metal cuttings, Steel chips etc and all kinds of chips from machining. The briquetting press transforms ordinary industrial metal chips into dense briquettes, with a volume reduction to save storage.

Advantages:

Before using the briquetting press:  Loss around 30% of swarfs, if you remelt it without briquetting. Also you will lose the cooling oil that you use for CNC machines. 
 
After using this briquetting machine: 
1. You can only loss around 5 % of the swarfs during remelting. 
2. You can reuse the cooling oil again as the machine squeeze the swarfs like a sponge.
3. You use small storage area to store this swarf, as the briqutted billet is about 75% of the original solid metal density.
4. If you decide to sell it as briquette, it sells for more than if you sell it as wet swarf.
5. Melting time is much less as the briqutts falls inside the melt and does not float on the top of the liquid.
6. Less or no Pollution as the swarf is nearly dry and now black smoke during melting.
