Dismounting bearings can cause damage to both the bearings and associated components, such as shafts, if incorrect tools and techniques are used. When shafts and bearings are damaged during bearing dismounting, there is often a cost penalty in both time and materials. In addition, the use of the wrong tools and techniques for dismounting can be hazardous to the operator, especially due to the high forces involved. This paper walks through the required preparations and applicable dismounting methods for cylindrical and tapered seating. Methods include mechanical, heating and hydraulic techniques.

ZMH-90 induction heating device, including main switch cabinet and dismounting ring, is suitable for removing shrink fitted inner rings and for mounting the rings. They work rapidly and cleanly. They are also used for batch dismounting.

Induction heating devices are primarily used to heat the inner rings of medium-sized and large cylindrical roller bearings and needle roller bearings. The devices are suitable for inner rings without ribs and inner rings with one rib. Special devices are used for labyrinth rings, shrink fitted
 

At present, ZM supply dismounting ring in two designs.

A design is that the dismounting ring is design for medium-sized bearing, the materials is insulation material. Please refer to the Picture 1

The second design is that the dismounting ring for large-size bearing. This design also equip movable, rise and fall freely trolley. The material of this design is silicon steel. Please refer to the Picture 2.

1. The size of dismounting ring is customized according to customers’ requirement.

2. Use the heating resistant gloves take out the work-piece after dismounting the inner ring (Only for the first design)

3. Switch off the power before take out the dismounting ring.
