Organic chemistry reaction for dehydration or dehydrogenation catalysts. As flux in the steel industry. Manufacture of ceramic, glass, optical glass, fiberglass, electron and instrument. For welding electrodes welding components. Metallurgical flux. Base material  for nuclear reactor.
