This kind of recovery system conventionally uses a single cyclone and makes use of the cyclonic action to separate the powder from the air and collect the powder in the collecting bin below. Cyclone cleaning is easy and therefore this system can be used for multiple colours. Traditionally the collection efficiency is up to 95%.

Bottom suction is made inside the booth by means of downward movement of the powder particles, which can not adhere to the material during painting process, as a result of the gravitational force. Base of the booth is inclined and a suction duct is located along the base of the booth, allowing the powder is collected there and sucked by the cyclone.

It is manufactured in types for one-side and two-side powder coating application. Those types of booths are designed as single or double cyclone according to the booth sizes. Cyclone system provides an advantage due to featuring fast color change.
