EDI system

1. Summary

  Mixed-bed deionization is the standard technology for more than 30 years. Because this technology needs periodic regeneration, the regeneration project uses a large quantity of chemical medicine (acid-bases) and pure water, so it is not enough to meet the acidless purification system. These years there appeared a EDI ultrapure water purification equipment which has both mixed-bed technology and electrodialysis technology. This equipment adopt two advantages, the purity level is high which is made by Mixed-bed technology, no need of acid-base regeneration in the electrodialysis.

2. EDI compared with the mixed-bed equipment 

  Continuous operation, water quality is stable. No need of acid-base regeneration, this situation saves cleaning water in some level. No regeneration sewage, so it is not necessary to set up the sewage treatment plant.
