According to Chinese standard GB 1499.2-2007,

For rebar HRB400:Tensile strength≥540Mpa,Yeild strength≥400Mpa;

For rebar HRB500:Tensile strength≥630Mpa,Yeild strength≥500Mpa.

The upset forging parallel thread connection technology can not only be used for the   connection of HRB400 rebar, but also for other rebar, such as HRB500, Gr.60, Gr.75, Gr.80, B500B,B500C, etc. Those of tensile strength is more than 700Mpa and so on.
