High silica fiberglass products
Its softening point approaches 1700 OC and can be used at 900 OC for a long time. It has fine chemical satiability and favorable upright electricity. This fabric is applicable for use as a heat-resistant, fire-resistant and corrosion-resistant material in the construction of rockets, missiles, and other space vehicles. Apart from applications requiring high temperature-resistance,it is also has insulation and fire prevention uses.
With resistance to temperatures up to approximately 1000OC, this fabric is used for the production of fireproof protective mats, fireproof curtains and fire blankets. It is also used as protective material for welding, a filter for molten metal, for dust collection in high temperature gas media, and filtration in high temperature liquids etc.
This product conforms with the GJB 1873-1994 national military standard.
High temperature properties:
1) Soft point: nearly 1700OC
2) Can work for 10 minutes at 1450OC
3) Stays stable at 1600OC for 15 seconds
4) Long service period service at 1000oC for working temperature
5) Low thermal conductivity, good chemical stability, good electric insulation, low thermal shrinkage

Silica materials are designed for heavy duty industrial applications such as fire protection, welding screening, furnace insulation in steel and aluminium metallurgy, glass production, moulds and casting industry, foundries, boilers, kilns, refineries, power plants, steam and gas turbines, engines, compressors, etc.
Fiberglass mesh for filtering aluminium is woven with specific high-twisted yarn and then treated, the heat-resistance temperature of this product can be up to 700OC and even above 800 OC if with special treatment.
It is an ideal material to filter aluminum in smelting and casting process.
