GENERAL INTRODUCTION

This Automated High Speed Modular Plug Assembly Machine aims to provide an integral assembly automation solution to assemble modular plug series of connectors from parts loading, feeding, separating, cutting, clamping, inserting, assembling, testing, inspecting to final unloading as well as final packing. 

Thanks To leading edge cam drive mechanism enables this automated modular plug assembly machine can come with an production rate up to more than 300 pcs/min, meanwhile advanced cam drive mechanism ensures a stable and reliable assembling performance;

CCD camera checking and inspection system as optional function can be introduced with this automated modular plug assembly machine to check and inspect pin-insertion and provide an signal to eject NG products from GOOD products;

Designed with control system with mitsubishi PLC & Touch Panel enables this automated modular plug assembly machine can warn machine operator for any troubleshoots & alert through various of methods such as menu display, sound warning and light warning etc. 

HMI-Human Machine Interface with EN/CN Dialogue menu that enables this automated modular plug assembly machine easy to operate and simple to repair for any troubleshoots. 

 

ASSEMBLY FLOW 

Integral Automation Solution 

This automated Modular plug assembly machine provide a top-class solution from parts & components loading, conveying, separating, positioning, cutting, inserting, assembling, inspecting, unloading and packing.

Terminal Pin Loading 

Terminal Pin in strip is fed by coil feeder and 8 coil feeder to load and feed the pin at the same time to guarantee high speed assembly and production rate at 200-300 pcs/min.

Plastic Molding Loading 

Full-Custom made vibratory feeder bowl is introduced to load and feed plastic molding with high speed loading speed; 

Terminal Pin Cutting & Inserting (Cam-Drive Mechanism)

Pin loaded from coil feeder is cut and inserted into plastic molding by a full-custom design and made cam mechanism that driven by servo motor system to hold an high speed cam drive insertion performance; 

Final Product Checking & Inspecting (CCD Checking)

CCD camera system with image contrast soft system as optional function can be introduced for this automated modular plug assembly machine to check and inspect the final product if any pin missing etc.

NG Rejecting 

An automatic NG rejecting mechanism and reject product track will be separate OK product from NG product in accordance with inspecting result from CCD camera system.  

Final Unloading & Packing 

Special purpose packing system to pack the modular plug into a small plastic bag with each bag contain 200pcs can be introduced as optional to meet customer’s packing demands.
