Ginger

Ginger is a common food ingredient used in Asian cuisine. In addition, ginger has also been used for its medicinal properties for centuries. The root or underground stem (rhizome) of the ginger plant can be consumed fresh, dried and powdered as spice and in oil form or as juice.
