Installation requirements of basin type bearing:

(1) bearing mounting surface roughness of pier top dressing, without leveling.

(2) support the center line and elevation without checking, setting out or not.

Prevention and control measures:

(1) surface shall be trimmed according to the design of the installation elevation of the permanent support pier, and the precise lofting on the top of the pier. Draw the center line or contour, and subject to review.

(2) in addition to bearing elevation accord with design requirements, also should keep the two directions of horizontal plane, elevation angle of four bearings shall not be greater than 2mm.

(3) the support center line should be parallel to the main line of the main beam.

(4) the installation of anchor bolt, screw top surface shall not be less than the height of the nut.

(5) consider the compression of the rubber, in the installation of rubber bearings in general elevation 10mm, in order to ensure the design of the top of the bridge when the system is converted to the top of the bridge design elevation.

With the continuous beam cantilever construction method, the general should be the first pier top beam (i.e. zero block) and temporary pier fixed, anti stress by the temporary support pier before closure, and the permanent support force. After the closure, temporary support force according to the continuous beam fulcrum force requirements for conversion. At this time, adjust the bearing force, should be based on elevation control, reaction force is checked.
