Maize Starch Process

   Maize is one of the largest grains of the world for our human being. Maize starch process has been the fundamental industry of material supplying for the food, fermentation, chemical, medicine, textile, paper and animal feed industries. Maize starch is an irreplaceable product as a basical raw material and wide application area for above industries being compared with other grains. The general maize starch process as follows.

   The raw material of maize is firstly steeped after being cleaned under a certain degree by sulfur liquid. During which the maize is soaked and been soft and meanwhile the soluble protein can be steeped out.

  After steeping process the maize is pre crushed for the purpose of being free out the germs from the maize. Then the germ is separated out and then dewatered , dried and finally for germ oil process.

  The pre crushed maize is then fine milled during which the starch and gluten are crushed out from the fiber inside and the fiber is sieved out then dried and packed for animal feed industry.

  The protein is separated and concentrated. The concentrated protein is also for other raw material industries , for example animal feed or medicine.

  The balance of the starch milk is then concentrated, dewatered and then dried to final finished starch or the concentrated starch milk is furtherly processed for drivative products of glucose or modified starch.
