The aqueous solution of sodium fluoride is alkalescent. The application of sodium fluoride is quite broad, including  timber preservative, antimicrobial for brewing industry, pesticide in agriculture, medical antiseptic, flux, additive for the electrolyte in the starting of aluminum electrolytic cell, fluorine treatment agent for drinking water, other fluoride, cool protein, the production of sodium fluoride toothpaste, binder, papermaking, metallurgy, enamel and pharmacy.
