Highly Effective Halogen Free Flame Retardant Lydorflam 5666

Description

Lydorflam 5666 is a white, fine-grained powder based on an organic phosphinate. The product is not hygroscopic and it is insoluble in water and common organic solvents like acetone, dichloromethane, MEK, toluene. Lydorflam 5666 can easily be dispersed in solvents like acetone or MEK.

• Lydorflam 5666 is a halogen-free flame retardant with a high phosphorus content which is suitable for use in both thermoplastic and thermoset applications where the most stringent fire retardancy standards must be met.
• Due to its specifically designed particle size distribution, Lydorflam 5666 is particularly suitable for very thin adhesive applications like flexible printed circuits (PCB). It can be readily dispersed in epoxy resin systems, phenolic resin, modified polyester and organic solvent systems when a high shear mixer is used.
• Excellent resistance to high temperature, decomposing temperature is over 300℃.
• Insoluble in water and common organic solvents. Wonderful hydrolytic properties.

Applications

• Lydorflam 5666 can be added alone or with other halogen free flame retardant.
• Halogen-free PCB.
• Glass cloth, varnish and copper foil.
• It can be applied to halogen-free fire retardancy of articles which have restricted requirements on surface quality, dispersion, hydrolytic, ion migration resistance and comprehensive mechanical properties such as special high class wirecable extrusion, heat melt adhesive, coating, sealant and other thin-wall or low silhouette materials.
