Bauxite Processing Machine

Bauxite exists in free-flowing form, which makes it relatively easy to dig out of the ground. Front end loaders load the bauxite into 150 tonne bottom-dump trucks, which take the ore to a dump station for transportation to the processing plant (called a beneficiation plant) by rail and belt conveyor. The ROM Bauxite passes through quite a few processes before it is converted into export grade with high commercial value. After the raw Bauxite is mined, it not only undergoes mechanical process of crushing, sizing and screening.

Bauxite Processing Plant & Bauxite Beneficiation Equipment

On the bauxite beneficiation plant, the raw bauxite ore is going to be fed into primary crusher for primary crushing.
After the crushing process, the the bauxite is screened and washed to remove fine particles. It is then positioned on stockpiles, which are loaded onto ships. Then a bauxite ore is going to be refined into alumina at the smeltery.
On the smeltery, bauxite ore will probably be ground into fine powder (under 0.1mm or even smaller) by grinding mill for example rod mill, ball mill ,Raymond mill, questionable mill etc
