Application:

It’s available for use as a solvent in solution polymerization, 2-methylfuran can also be used in the production of pentadiene, pentanediol, acetyl-propanol, ketones and 2 - methyl-tetrahydrofuran, as well as Vitamin B1, chloroquine phosphate and primaquine phosphate. It is a good solvent for pyrethroid agrochemicals, food essences and flavors, and may be applied in pesticides such as the pyrethroid prallethrin.
