 Cold Continuous Rolling Process --- A299 Grade B Steel Plate/Coil

 

Cold continuous rolling process means using A299 Grade B hot rolled coil as raw material, the first use acid pickling to remove oxide film, and then do the continuous rolling to get the full hard coil. The cold-work hardening caused by will make the steel coil’s strength and hardness rising meanwhile toughness and plasticity will reduce, this is means the stamping property of coil will worsen, it only can be used in producing simple deformation parts. Generally speaking, the total weight of a complete full hard coil is 6~13.5 tons, and its inner diameter is 610mm.

 

We usually relieve cold work hardening and rolling stress by continuous annealing or cover annealing process, and this process also can make the coil achieve mechanical performance index specified by standard. And we also will do the finishing for these coils after anneal, such as edge-cutting, neat and so on. A299 Grade B Cold Continuous Rolling Steel Plate/Coil is widely used in automobile manufacture, household electrical appliances, construction and other industries.
