Pigment Red 146

Pigment Red 146 affords bluish red shade exhibit excellent fastness to light and organic solvents, but tendency to migrate. Mainly used in printing inks precludes print on plasticized PVC films, textile printing, extend used for certain coatings and plastic.

Application

1. Inks: mainly used for letterpress, offset, packaging gravure, flexo inks. And also used for a variety special applications, like print bank notes securities. The certain tendency to migrate precludes its used in print on plasticized PVC films.

2. Paints: used for emulsion, architectural and general industrial paints where durability in unimportant. Also used for combination with Molybdate Orange pigments to produce bright opaque shades of red.

3. Plastics: certain used to color rigid PVC.

4. Others: office articles, cleaning agents, paper mass, laundry markers, soaps etc.
