Properties and Characteristics
The spherical bearing QZ has the following advantages.1)The bearing transfers force through the spherical surface,so no contraction of force will accur,and the reacting force on concrete is relatively even.2)The bearing ratates through the sliding of the spherical PTFE plate,with less turning moment,which is only related to the radius of the spherical surface and friction 3)coefficient of the PTFE plate,not subject to the turning angle of the bearing,so it is especially suitable for large turning angles.The design turning angle may be 0.05rad or more.3)The turning of the bearing is consistent in all directions so it is suitable for wide and curve bridges.J.S.Brown can supply many kinds of bearings such as TCYB spherical head circular elastomeric bearings,sliding guided bearing and so on.Due to high quality,we have exported to many countries.

1)The reacting force is divided into 16 grades: 1000,1500,2000,2500,3000,4000,5000,6000,7000,8000,9000,
10000,12500,15000,17500,20000KN.
2)Design turning angle:0.01,0.015 and 0,02rad
3)Design displacement:Along the bridge:1000-2500KN,e=50, 100,150mm,Across the bridge:free sliding bearings are used,e+20mm.The design displacement may be varied according to the requirement of works.
4)When the PTFE plate is lubricated with silicon grease, and under the stress of 30Mpa or so,the design friction coefficient is as follows:normal temperature(-25-+60):0.03;lower temperature(-40-+40):0.05

5)Horizon bearing capacity:For sliding guided bearings,the capacity across the bridge is 10% of the reaction force of the bearing;for fixed bearing,the capacity is also 10%
