matcha is made from the youngest leaves found at the top of the tea plants. This matcha has a higher concentration of amino acids and its flavour is naturally sweeter, so there is no need to blend it with anything else to appreciate its full taste. Ceremonial matcha is premium matcha green tea powder and is used exclusively for whisking in hot water and drinking straight as tea (just like in the traditional Japanese tea ceremonies). It is not recommended to use for baking or mixing as its premium, refined taste, gets weakened among the other ingredients.
