Fume Hood Introduction

Fume hood is a very important part of ventilation system in laboratory. Laboratory should have a good ventilation environment to keep experimenters away from inhaling or swallowing hazardous gases, smoke, dust, mist and particulate matters or organisms etc. Fume hood is designed for removing these hazardous matters from laboratory.

Standard Characters Of Fume Hood With Worktop

1. Shell material
Made of 1.0mm cold rolled steel, appearance with 0.5mm electrostatic coating epoxy resin for high temperature resistance and anti-corrosion.
2.viewing window
Vertical viewing window is made of temper glass and stainless wire rope running on plastic roller. Max high up to 600mm.
3.worktop
19mm epoxy resin and leakage proof edge, with one oval drip kettle vent valve. Optional 18mm phenolic resin.
4.water fitting
One tap installed inside with control device and PP oval drip cup.
5.illumination
Two 20W fluorescent lamp outside the machine.
6.Type of draught fan
Centrifugal fan with multiple forward curved PP vanes. Fan housing is made from PP anti-corrosion material with 205mm outlet flange. Fan is drove by 415v/50hz/3phase motor, motor size depends on airflow requirement of each fume hood.
7.base cabinet
Metal base cabinet made of steel with epoxy power sprayed, with sliding door.
