Product characteristics:
(1) odorless, safe, environmentally friendly and tasteless; (accessible to food and medicine)
(2) excellent heat resistance (softening point 120-125 degree) and cold resistance (embrittlement temperature: -70 C);
(3) the material is self-lubricating and has good abrasion resistance. It occupies the crown of plastics and exceeds some metals.
(4) excellent electrical insulation performance (good insulation material!) ;
(5) the chemical stability is good, and it is insoluble in any organic solution at room temperature, and is resistant to acid, alkali and salt.
(6) water absorption and water vapor transmission rate are very low (good packaging materials!)
(7) even at low temperature, the impact strength is high
(8) tensile strength: because UHMWPE has the necessary structural features towards tensile orientation, the product has an unrivalled high tensile strength. Therefore, the super high elastic modulus and strength can be obtained by the gel spinning method. The tensile strength is up to 3 to 3.5GPa, the tensile modulus is as high as 100 to 125GPa, and the fiber specific strength is the same. So far, all commercialized fibers are extremely high, 4 times larger than carbon fibers, 10 times larger than steel wires, and 50% larger than aramid fibers.
(9) ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW PE) has excellent aging resistance, longer service life and lower cost.
(10) by adding flame retardants, the product has flame retardancy (it can be extinguished quickly in 3-10 seconds after leaving the fire source, and it does not drip and does not produce harmful gas).
(11) good resistance to adhesion and easy to clean
