Information of brake and derailleur cable housing following:

Composition: Outer plastic layer, Coiled Steel (brake cable housing),

Linear steel strands (derailleur cable housing), Liner.

Materials:

Outer plastic layer:         made of environmentally edible PVC

Coiled steel (brake cable housing): made of stainless steel

Linear steel strands (derailleur cable housing): After straightening from the wire, the zero compression ratio provides a more accurate and faster shift response.

Liner: made from HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)

Adventage:

Outer plastic layer:         environment and safety.

Coiled steel: Increased flexibility of the line tube, extending the life of the line tube.

Linear steel strands: Provide more comfortable speed change experience.

Liner:

1.       Long service life, under standard conditions, liners can be safely used for at least 50 years.

2.       HDPE pipe has excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance and toughness.

3.       Non-toxic, environmental protection guards, harmless to the human body.

4.       HDPE tube surface hardness, tensile strength, rigidity and other mechanical strength are higher than LDPE, close to PP, tougher than PP, but the surface finish is not as good as PP.

5.       The inner wall is smooth and the wall of the tube is not fouled. It has an ultra-low frictional resistance and is conducive to threading.

6.       HDPE tube light weight, help to reduce product weight.
