EEBD Inspection Standard:

The EEBD are designed and manufactured according to the International Fire-Fighting Safety System Rules which passed by the MSC.98 (73) Resolution of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and became a compulsory.

 

Application:

The EEBD may to provide constant fresh airflow and is used for personal escaping from a dangerous environment full of poisonous harmful air, smoke or lack of oxygen. It’s not to be used for fighting fire, entering cabin lack of oxygen, or worn by fire fighters.

 

Construction of eebd emergency escape:

The EEBD is composed of compressed air cylinder, pressure reducing valve, pressure gauge, air hose, face hood, cylinder bag. The pressure gauge on the cylinder indicates the cylinder pressure. The cylinder pressure is not indicated during storage or transportation. The hood is a flame resistant head cover which completely covers the head, neck, and may cover portions of the shoulders with a transparent window. It’s easy to use, simply open the cylinder valve and put the hood on head.

      Professional escape breathing apparatus EEBD

1.EEBD is used only to escape from hazardous gases. It should not be used for firefighting, entering into anoxic cabin or firefighters wearing.
2.The EEBD is equipped with a pressure gauge. During storage, the pressure gauge does not show gas pressure.
3.EEBD is equipped with a fireproof hood for covering the head, neck and shoulders, with a wide viewing window on the hood.
4.The operation is simple. Open the valve on the gas cylinder and wear the headgear.
