1.Oil cooler shall be installed in the system return oil circuit or in the system below the design pressure. Oil side pressure shall be higher than water side pressure.

2. Installation of oil cooler should check whether the connection with pipeline accessories is correct and tight.

3. Close the oil outlet and water outlet valves first, loosen the exhaust plug, slowly open the oil inlet and water inlet valves, so that the cooler is filled with oil and water, tightly return to the exhaust plug, water and oil are in a static state, so that the temperature difference between oil and water gradually decreases.

4. When the oil-water heat balance is completed, open the outlet and outlet valves, and adjust the water inflow according to the requirements of heat balance.

Note: When opening the water inlet valve of the cooler, the flow rate should be gradually increased, otherwise the heat exchanger tube will form a "supercooled layer" with poor thermal conductivity due to the inflow of a large amount of cold water, which will reduce the heat transfer effect.

5. If the electrochemical corrosion on the water side is serious, zinc rod plug can be used to replace the end cap plug on the water side.

6. Clean fresh water should be used in the cooler, and filters should be installed in the dirty water.

7. Use the cooler in cold season. When the cooler is out of service, the water and oil in the cooler should be exhausted as far as possible so as not to freeze and crack the cooler.

8. When the cooler is out of service, the oil and water entry valve should be closed in turn, the oil and water discharge valve should be loosened, the screw on the oil discharge port should be released, and the residual water and oil in the cooler should be exhausted.
