Cubic boron nitride tool has high hardness, wear resistance, excellent thermal stability and cutting performance, cutting temperature can reach 1300oC. Hardness: 97 degrees, life is tens to hundreds of times that of cemented carbide.

Processing materials: PCBN tools are mainly used in hardened steel, quenched and tempered steel, tool steel, die steel, bearing (HRC 45-70); cold-hardened cast iron, high chromium cast iron, nickel-based, cobalt-chromium-molybdenum alloy, cobalt-based high temperature bonding (HRC 35-70) and hard-to-process grey cast iron; and other difficult-to-process black materials.

Usage: Usually used for processing brake disc, engine piston, engine cylinder block, brake drum, flywheel, valve seat/gear, transmission device and die, etc. The surface of the workpiece is smooth, which can realize replacing grinding by car, greatly improve work efficiency and effectively reduce production costs.

Processing method: Suitable for rough and finish processing.
