The Metals Factory is a leading manufacturer and supplier of stainless steel stripsand slit coils in a range of finishes including 2B/BA, 2D, No. 1 HR and mirror polished in line with ASTM, ASME and EN standards. Stainless steel strip is a common mill form of stainless steel and is typically stocked in three types: heat-treatable, non-heat-treatable and pre-hardened. Stainless steel strip is formed to fit desired applications through processes such as slitting, edging, annealing, shearing, polishing, tempering and additional custom finishing. Most typically made into coil, stainless steel strip can also be made into shapes such as channels, frames, trim and angles.

Although we do stock stainless steel strips, sheets and shims other than those listed in this section, as a matter of general information we list below the three general groups of stainless, stainless steel shim stock and heat resisting steels.
