Cylindrical pins are manufactured from high quality carbon structural steel.

Generally speaking, C35 and C45 are chosen as materials, but heat treatment is necessary. Bearing steel is selected for high strength.

Use of cylindrical pins

It is mainly used for positioning and connection. It is fixed in pinhole by interference fit. Cylindrical pins are usually used for positioning, which are not subjected to loads or very small loads. The number of pins is not less than two. They are distributed in the symmetrical direction of the whole structure of the connected parts. The farther the pins are, the better. The length of pins in each connected part is about 1-2 times of the small diameter.
