To prevent overdischarge, the cell should be charged periodically to maintain its voltage above 3.0V. Overdischarge can result in loss of cell performance and battery function. Do not over discharge to make the cell less than 2.5V. If you do not use the battery for a long time, remove the battery from the battery appliance.
