TYPE TA Elevators are for use on tubing, casing and drill collars. The elevators are balanced for easy handling with safety lock and latch and guarded operating handles. Sizes range from 35 tons to 150 tons and cover all size tubular up to111/4".

The main body of DD(TA) elevator is made of high-strength alloy steel, processed by special heat treatment as to obtain the good plasticity and tenacity. It is designed in accordance with API Spec 8C PSL1 for Drilling and Production Hoisting Equipment. Its residual deformation is not more than 0.2% through the max. Test load, and no damage and deformation happen through Non-Destructive Examination after twenty-four hours.

It is a center latch elevator, up to the standard SY/T 5035 of Elevator links, elevators and tongs Industry, and designed on the basis of theory of uniform strength and equipped with the safety device of spring valve. The DD(TA) elevator is reasonable in design, convenient in operation and reliable in safety.
